Job Summary
ProCourier Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and organized Logistics Associate to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will support daily operations by ensuring smooth coordination between our logistics, delivery teams, and customers. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours: 12:00PM to 8:30PM

Job Overview

As a logistics associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations, focusing on customer service, data entry, and dispatching. Your work will directly impact our ability to meet tight deadlines and provide outstanding service to our clients. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, a quick thinker, and has experience in dispatching and logistics. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Provide outstanding service to both internal teams and external clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering solutions in real-time.
• Data Entry: Accurately input data into various systems and software, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and precise.
• Dispatching: Manage and coordinate the dispatch of deliveries, ensuring that all shipments are on time and that drivers have clear instructions.
• Time-Critical Logistics: Respond quickly to urgent requests, adjust plans on the fly, and ensure smooth and efficient operations under tight deadlines.
• Communication: Maintain clear communication with drivers, clients, and internal teams to facilitate seamless operations.

Rotating On-Call Weekends- Remote: Approximately One weekend per month (Remote On-Call availability may be required to address urgent operational needs)

Experience:

• Customer Service: Ability to provide exceptional customer service when dealing with clients, drivers, and other external partners.
• Dispatcher Experience Required: 1-2 years of experience in a dispatching role, with an understanding of logistics.

• Time-Critical Logistics Experience: Experience in managing operations with tight deadlines is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in managing delays, route changes, and unexpected disruptions.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to monitor and track deliveries and shipments, ensuring all logistics run smoothly.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage a high volume of calls, emails, and requests.

Skills:

• Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and professional written and verbal communication abilities are essential for interacting with clients, drivers, and team members.
• Quick Thinking and Adaptability: Ability to think on your feet, manage changing priorities, and solve problems quickly in high-pressure situations.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using a variety of software applications and systems for data entry, dispatching, and customer communication.
• Willingness to Learn: Open to training and adapting to new systems, technologies, and processes in a fast-paced work environment.
• Typing Speed: Must be able to type at a minimum speed of 40 words per minute.
