The Hollywood Beach Marriott is accepting applications to join our team as Part-time/Full Time Second Shift Hotel Security Officer. We offer our Hotel Security team a positive, team-oriented work environment with benefits that include hotel room discounts world-wide, free parking, and employee shift meal. This position will include weekends - usually working a 5 pm to 11pm schedule. The endless natural beauty of Florida's East Coast is vividly on display at the Hollywood Beach Marriott. We are perfectly positioned on the beach and the Boardwalk - offering our guests an impeccable location from which to explore the area. Our guests can also enjoy our Latitudes Restaurant, serving fresh Florida cuisine, and lounge around our oceanfront pool without taking a step. Our Hotel Security Officers are integral in promoting and protecting the safety and security of our associates, our guests and our business. Daily activities of our Hotel Security Officers include:

• Conducting foot patrols of our property and perimeter
• Monitor Lobby, Banquet, and restaurant areas
• Exercising key control and property security such as locking required doors
• Processing lost and found items
• Responding to emergency situations such as safety hazards, fire, medical emergencies and threats to life and/or property
• Responding to guest inquiries and resolves and resolving guest issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner

As a representative of the hotel, a successful Hotel Security Officer will have excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, and will be friendly, helpful, team-oriented and professional at all times. Previous experience and current CPR/AED/First Aid certification is preferred. Qualifications

• Customer service and hospitality experience
• Front desk or hotel experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications required
• Multilingual or bilingual skills a plus
• Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and guest relations
