About the Role:
The Product Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our customers through the development and management of high-quality technical rope rescue and rope access products. This position collaborates with cross-functional teams to bring innovative products to market. The successful candidate will be responsible for the product lifecycle, from concept up to launch, ensuring that all products meet regulatory standards and customer expectations. The position involves conducting market research to identify customer needs and trends and converting the findings into actionable product specifications for the product development team. Additionally, the Product Manager will analyze product performance and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and enhance product offerings. Ultimately, this role is crucial in positioning our company as the continued leader in the life safety equipment sector, contributing to both customer satisfaction and business growth.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the recreational or safety equipment industry.
Strong understanding of product development processes and lifecycle management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with recreational or life safety equipment or related products.
Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance in the safety equipment industry.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies to analyze and forecast the return on investment (ROI) for new product initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate financial projections and assess the profitability of upcoming product launches.
Conduct market research to identify customer needs and industry trends related to life safety equipment.
Develop and manage product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer requirements.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to create new products.
Monitor product performance and gather customer feedback to inform future product enhancements.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards throughout the product lifecycle.
