Job Description: Reporting directly to the Global Head of Corporate Banking, this New York domiciled role will lead and manage a team that covers US Financial Institutions and related subsector client bases. Our franchise covers 175 of the largest Financial Services companies (Insurance, Asset Management, Private Capital, Specialty Finance, Financial Technology, Banks, etc.) headquartered in the United States. The business generates $2bln in annual revenues across the core corporate banking product lines. The team consists of 17 bankers located in New York and Dallas. This is a large and complex business serving the most important players in the Financial Services business. The sub sectors contain many of the most sophisticated companies in the US with complex capital and cash management needs. As a result, the business arranges, deploys, and manages a significant amount of capital in all forms along with risk management products as well as cutting-edge GPS solutions to support their needs. Managing a team with the experience and specialization required to cover the franchise, this role requires significant banking and leadership skills including: Lead the creation and development of team strategy to enhance relationships and drive cross-selling efforts across the client base domestically and globally. Leverage the full potential of the Bank’s platform: scope includes financing such as lending, leasing, equity and debt capital raising, ABS and Subscription Financing as well as the associated risk managing (FX and rates), and global payments solutions (cash management, trade, liquidity – working capital management) as well as Global Markets products. Drive growth in the business through new client additions and product opportunities. Develop and grow client relationships through partnership coordination consisting of active client interface, idea generation, pitching, execution, and working closely with global and regional banking teams and product partners. Maintain and build the integral partnership with IBK. Identify and structure solutions that address our clients’ needs and/or solve their challenges across the entire product suite. Lead product partners, Risk, Credit, Legal and other internal support partners to optimize client strategic outcomes and manage risk. Drive returns to ensure we achieve value accretion and a balanced risk/return outcome. Deliver agreed portfolio goals via effective resource allocation by ensuring that banker portfolios and resources are appropriately balanced to achieve success. Develop the next generation of bankers by mentoring and providing constructive feedback. Be the escalation point for clients, proactively solving issues, and escalating as appropriate to ensure quick resolution of any issues. Help strengthen BofA’s presence and profile in the Financial Services arena as a critical business partner and advisor to clients. Be an active stakeholder in the teams’ development by fostering best-in-class expertise, idea generation, dialogue as well as taking ownership and demonstrating leadership as a lead banker. Continue building out the global FIG CBK franchise as partner, leader and culture carrier. Required Skills: Professional pedigree with minimum 15 years of banking, corporate finance, and relationship management experience with proven leadership skills. Managing Director or equivalent. Passionate about building customer relationships/partnerships and providing value-added engagement to deepen client connectivity. Strong leader able to attract talented bankers and build a highly engaged and driven team. Proven culture carrier. Proven track record in origination, structuring, execution, and client advocacy. Excellent corporate finance skills with a strong knowledge of all corporate finance banking products, credit risk, and structuring. Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills. Diversified experience across all relevant corporate finance, GPS and risk management products and solutions. Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours Per Week: 40 Pay Transparency details: US - NY - New York - ONE BRYANT PARK - BANK OF AMERICA TOWER (NY1100) Pay and benefits information Pay range $450,000.00 - $450,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education, and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible. This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
