Job Description
Meet with prospective and existing clients to assess estate planning needs and provide recommendations.
Draft and review estate planning documents, ensuring they align with client goals and current laws.
Guide clients through the engagement process, including fee discussions and payment collection.
Conduct client meetings to review, update, and finalize estate plans.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, meetings, and legal documents.
Respond to client inquiries via phone and email in a timely manner.
Collaborate with financial advisors and other professionals to provide comprehensive estate planning solutions.
Stay current with estate planning, trust, and probate laws to ensure compliance and best practices.
Participate in regular attorney meetings and firm-wide meetings to discuss complex cases and legal updates.
Qualifications
Active California State Bar license.
Minimum of 3 years of estate planning experience.
Strong knowledge of estate, gift, and income tax laws.
State Bar Certified Specialist in Trusts, Wills & Probate preferred.
Excellent communication, organization, and client management skills.
Proficiency in legal technology and case management systems.
